As an independent foundation, the FZI Research Center for Information Technology has stood for applied cutting-edge research in computer science and its application fields for over 40 years. The FZI researches and develops innovations for the benefit of society, either through direct commissions from companies or in collaborative projects. In addition to the rapid transfer of research results to business, administration, and society, its central task is the training and further education of future specialists and executives for the digital transformation. The FZI is an innovation partner of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
